Executive Circle

The Executive Circle invites Kai Tschoeke (Chairman, Germany & Austria, Rothschild & Co) and Christian Wagner (Head of Investment Banking DACH, Barclays) to Mannheim. Students can expect a unique perspective on investment banking from two distinct angles: an Elite Boutique Chairman versus a Bulge Bracket Head of Investment Banking – presented by two of the most experienced leaders in the DACH financial sector.

Kai Tschoeke brings over three decades of advisory experience across numerous M&A, equity and debt transactions. Following a 20-year tenure at Morgan Stanley, where he ultimately served as Head of M&A for Germany and Austria, he transitioned to Rothschild & Co in 2014, where was Country Head Germany & Austria and now shapes the strategic direction as Chairman Germany & Austria.

Christian Wagner began his career in 2000 at Lehman Brothers in London and has since specialized in financial investors and private equity. After leading the Financial Investors division for the DACH region as a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, he assumed the role of Head of Investment Banking DACH at Barclays in 2024 to drive the bank's growth and expansion in Europe.
